The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released an important update regarding the CA Final exams 2026, bringing a major change in the exam pattern. As per the latest ICAI announcement April 2026, the CA Final exams will now be conducted twice a year instead of three times, making this a significant CA Final exam frequency change. Earlier, students had three attempts in January, May, and September, but under the new rule, the CA Final May November attempt system will be followed from the May 2026 exam onwards.

This ICAI CA Final new rule 2026 is based on stakeholder feedback and aims to streamline the examination process. While students will now have fewer attempts per year, they will also get more preparation time between attempts, making each attempt more crucial.
