Suppose an event organizer is in contract with a singer and all the tickets of the concert are sold and preparations are also done. But a day before the concert the singer dies then what will happen to the people who bought tickets and the event organizer who spend money for the preparations? Ticket buyers are almost always entitled to a refund, since the singer's death makes it legally impossible for the event organizer to fulfill the contract (deliver the performance). However, the organizer still bears the financial loss for costs already spent (venue rental, staging, marketing, security, etc.), unless they had event cancellation insurance, which many large event organizers do carry specifically for this kind of risk.
