Hello sir i have query in exemptions in CA inter Could you please advise me on the number of papers I should prepare for in the May 2024 attempt? I cleared my Group 1 CA Inter in November 2021, received an exemption in Advanced Accounting in May 2023, and obtained another exemption in FM&Eco in November 2023. I failed in Group 2 despite attempting three papers in the November 2023 attempt. And while applying exam form it gives more options regarding how many papers can I write for further attempt so please tell me which option can I select?

I have completed ipcc group 1 a long ago, now in may 2024, in group 2 only fm, sm and audit.. but individually 50 marks and 50 marks should have to come OR 40 and 40 minimum but total 100.. can u please give me clarity on this

Partial integration is applicable if agricultural income is more than 5000 and non agricultural income is more than basic exemption limit.

Impairement loss allocation on INDAS 105

It has been said that impairement loss will not be allocated to asset which is shown on realisable basis( as per my understanding).In this case (ill 1) PPE is shown at revalued amount, still also allocation done..why this adjustment done here sir?

PPE at revalued amount is not at realisable value. Realisable value is FV less cost to sell. Under Ind AS 16 - its at fair value. The loss will not be allocated to items like inventory which are valued at NRV.

Sir, In this particular Illustration, the wording of Machine A and B's recoverable value amounting to 760,000 is ignored and the complete CGU value has been considered for impairment reversal. why Machine A and B Recoverable value was not considered why CGU recoverable value is considered? Even though there were no calculation differences arise still if in case the recoverable value of machines A and B was only 650000 but the CGU recoverable value is 10 Lac due to other factors ( Favourable Technology Outcomes etc). In this case still will we use the CGU recoverable value Instead of Machine A and Machine B value.

Either we can do at an asset level or at a group of asset level forming part of CGU. When we talk about CGU not only Machine A and B would be considered but also other assets like inventory & goodwill. Hence combined valuation of A&B is not relevant.
