Finsihed good remains in stock doesn't incur any selling and distribution cost, while computing the value of finished good we should exlude that cost. Correct me if i'm wrong

latest answer

Your understanding is broadly right. However S&D costs are incurred till the time goods are hands of consumer. Distribution costs could also mean cost of storage in final godown before sale - that should be included. You can make an assumption that they are not to be included and solve but in this specific question i think they need to be included , else there will be no diff between WIP & FG, which is never the case

doubt regarding question

Financial Management

answered on 26-Dec-24 14:42

hello sir, in the question growth rate falls by 3%, but in the video that is considered as rise to 3% so, I think answer should be 2(1-0.03)/15.5%-(-0.03)% =1.94/18.5% = Rs.10.5

latest answer

Question says growth rate falls to 3% from 5% does not mean we are de growing So it is 1.03 and not 0.97
