Sir, Why some Companies Issues bond with more Coupon rate than the Market value Of bond ?
latest answer
Institutions and retail investors who rely on higher periodic interest payments may prefer such bonds. Also in case of a higher default risk, coupon rate would be higher.

Why are the carrying amounts considered as the tax base?
latest answer
It is assumed that the carrying values of the assets and liabilities in books of seller was equal to the tax base. If the question had given information about tax base, we would have considered that.

REAL RATE & MONEY/NOMINAL RATE
Financial Management
answered on 02-Mar-25 08:57
Real Method Caveat: The Real Method works correctly only if the inflation rate for the specific cash flows you're analyzing is the same as the general rate of inflation in the economy. If they differ, you need to use the Money/Nominal Method. Real vs. Current Cash Flows: When there's only one inflation rate, "real cash flows" and "current cash flows" are the same. They represent the value of money in today's terms. i did not understand this. Can you please explain? Thank You!
