Sir one doubt I had In the books of the deductor he will claim expenditure of the gross amount of TDS and the deductee will write the gross amount of TDS and then he will claim a deduction of the TDS paid by the deductor to the government Is it correct?

Section 37 - Business expenses are allowed as deduction Section 43B - Nothwithstanding any provision contained in income tax, certain expenses will be allowed as deduction only on payment basis. So 43B overrrides section 37.

Sir. In the illustration 8 the total kilometres for the purpose of calculating the diesel cost and the cost of lubricant oil is given in the question, one doubt I had is that if the total kilometres are not given in the question how should we find that the total kilometres?

Since the 3rd sub question asked about the insights about the Activity based costing, we made a comparison between the two. 2.
