Perpetual succession of OPC
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 20-Jan-21 11:54
If the members, directors and nominee of the OPC die, the OPC continues to exist. But how will it function if there's no one carrying out its operations? What is the point of keeping it alive on papers?
latest answer
That's "one of it's kind questions "... Maybe legal representatives of deceased member will become the member of the opc. Company can come to an end only in accordance with the provisions of law i.e winding up and dissolution... So if no one is there to run the company then the legal representative of the deceased member may file with the registrar an application for winding up the company...
