Direct Taxation
answered on 18-May-21 15:48
Allowed as deduction for 3years(year of employment + 2year). If first year of employment is loss for the company ,will the co get 2 years or 3 years of deduction for the succeeding years
latest answer
Deduction is only for the year of employment and two years. Even though the assessee gets loss in the first year, he will get deduction in remaining two years only.

Sir what is this Approximation method? Why no explanation is provided in the module? When to use it? If possible please provide explanation video
latest answer
Coupon Rate is 15%. Which means for Rs. 100 invested you get an interest of Rs. 15. However market rate of interest is 16%. So for every Rs. 100 invested investor wants Rs. 16 as return. Expected return is Rs. 16 for Rs. 100 investment. If Return is Rs. 15, the investor would invest = 100 x 15/16 = Rs. 93.75
