There is an exception to Sec.40A(3) That Cash paid to LIC is allowable expenditure In sec.36(1) Insurance premium paid by employer other then cash is allowed Which section will prevail ?

40A(3) wil prevail over 36(1)bcz it is having non obstante clause i.e section starts with "notwithstanding" If a section has this clause then it will override all other provisions So cash payment up to 10,000 only allowed
