Can " wi-fi hotspot" be an example for network virtualisation?

No.. Virtualisation simply means creating something that doesn't exist in real. When you create a Hotspot from your device, it actually is creating something which is real. But let us say, with one network connection, if you can create multiple Hotspots for different individuals then we can call it as Network Virtualisation.
