Anyone can Explain point no:4

latest answer

Interest @ 10 % on debentures transferred without consideration to be included in the hands of spouse. i.e., Rs. 30,000 is clubbed The clubbing provisions will even apply if the form of asset is changed. Here, debentures were redeemed and invested in other assets. The additional amount to be clubbed is Rs. 39000 x 300000/330000 = 35,455. Balance Rs. 3,545 is taxed in the hands of Shri Ram Kumar only

How is a supplier of goods supposed to quote prices?

Indirect Taxation

answered on 11-May-22 18:23

Is there any mandatory requirement for suppliers of goods to quote amount including tax. I feel this should be there because when they initially quote a price, they do not include GST. But at the time of billing they add GST extra. now the customer of the good feels the price to be a bit high. Then the supplier comes with an offer of not including GST, but the customer should sacrifice the invoice(he wouldn't need it since he is end consumer) and pay in cash only. This supplier would now sell this invoice to a registered person who can claim ITC. (bill trading) How is the government preventing this apart from penalty provisions in LAW. I have experienced this issues particularly at furniture shops i.e. places where the customer has little/no knowledge about the prices. since goods can't be compared with another furniture.(models vary)

latest answer

As per law, he is supposed to quote the basic price + GST. However, practically different kinds of transactions are undertaken.
