Can some explain me with an example How and when is Tax deducted at source is deemed receipt Deemed profit is a deemed receipt
latest answer
TDS is treated as income to the assessee. When an assessee earns income, the person paying to the assessee will deduct the TDS and that will be submitted to the government. It is like an advance tax taken by the government on the income of a person. The assessee will file the TDS return and whatever tax is calculated on his total income will be deducted and the final amount will either be a refund or a demand.

Which of the below statements is true 1) For Goods supply is Date of invoice or date of payment whichever is earlier 2) For Goods Supply is Date of invoice ( applicability for may 2022 exams )
latest answer
In case of goods, time of supply is given by Section 12(2). After amendment, time of supply is date of invoice. No need to pay GST on advance received. Date of invoice mean actual date of invoice or the date on which invoice is ought to have been issued as per Section 31 whichever is earlier.
