May23

Exams

answered on 26-Nov-22 17:10

Sir, I am appearing for may23 both grop. So what should be my strategy for the same

latest answer

Hope you started watching lectures and complete them within January end . Daily study for 9-10 hours. After studying, give one or two full revision of all subjects. After that solve past question papers,RTP,MTP,MOCK TEST SERIES. Do written practice. Set timer for 3 hours same as you will write for end exam and solve questions. Solve hard ones.. always be curious and try to ask more questions to yourself. Do not take exams easy..they won't ask book back questions. Everything will be concept based and on our level of understanding . All the best

How can we identify between principle error and error of commission.

Accountancy

answered on 26-Nov-22 14:39

How can we identify between principle error and error of commission. Because a mistake in accounting can occur either due lack of knowledge or it might be a mistake in the part of accountant.

latest answer

An "error of commission" occurs when an accountant enters a correct figure but in a false subsidiary account of the same type. An error of principle occurs when an accountant enters a correct number into the wrong account, typically one for capital or revenue.

Overheads

Costing

answered on 26-Nov-22 11:13

In this sum , sir allocated the overheads - electricity charges in the ratio of 8: 5 btw two products , i dont know from where sir took that ratio . And sir is splitting this apportionment in the ratio of direct material cost , that is also not mentioned in the question . And whatever sir is saying , only half of the information is there in question . If i didt understand this basic concept clearly it will be diffcult for me to understand the whole chapter .

latest answer

See that particular video itself. It was just an example on how will u absorb cost on per unit basis. He even said that appointment is on direct material for this example. It will not be given in question, we need to assume on suitable parameters.
