In various places of security Valuation , portfolio management there are terms of Expected return, Required return. In security valuation we use ke (using capm) as expected return/ required return In portfolio management we use Capm as required return and using Mpt theory we use it as expected return Can you please say if I am correct and if possible can you please provide any justification for this

Replacement decision

AFM

answered on 29-Aug-25 12:52

Sir can we solve this problem using EAC also? As EAC for replacement after one year is (40004) and in case of replacement to be made now it is (70000), hence it is evident that we should replace it next year only. [Video Time Stamp: 13:56]

Risk Management

AFM

answered on 26-Aug-25 11:06

In the Risk Management Chapter there are 6 problems, but in the later chapters like portfolio Management, derivatives etc where there are close to 90 problems in each chapter, how do we mark the Last Day revision problems? Are they informed in the problem solving videos itself, "like mark this question as Last day revision or keep this question for last day Revision"?

Okay sir, Thank you so much!
