Sir, if the current market price of a futures contract is lower than its theoretical price, wouldn't an investor prefer to take a long position to benefit from the price difference? If so, why would anyone take a short position in this situation, sir? [Video Time Stamp: 11:53]

When we invest working capital in the beginning , that wc comes back when we shut down the business. Hence that amount is shown as wc recoupment or release towards the end. PV of such WC release is also considered as part of CFs

Sir, could you please explain how you calculated the market value of the listed bonds in this question? I would like to understand the steps involved in the calculation.

if bonds had been issued at 14% then yield must have been at that level at then time of issue. If yield has currently fallen down to 8.842 % then it means that bond values would have risen. Bond price cannot be computed without clear details of maturity so we are hence using a shortcut to determine their price and formula is since price has to go up it will go up in proportion to change in interest rate, i.e 14/ 8.842

Sir, In this question, they have asked us if we have to accept the project or wait and see So, should we not after finding the value of the option, compute the project value including option, as we had done in the previous illustration? [Video Time Stamp: 00:12]

Not required - option has +ve value so option to wait is worth it In prev question we are trying to find out overall NPV and see if it is +ve or -Ve here project has +NPV on upside - question is if the option to wait has value or not

Post shipment credit is only for money that is converted to INR and usable to repay loan. if money is held in EEFC it cannot be used for such purposes

Sir, in case of tax benefit computed for B, already -2lacs is there, so when we less the tax benfit -60k.. it should become 2.6 right, because both are negative on losses no need to pay tax, so its benefit only and carry forward it, y r we taking 1.4lacs [Video Time Stamp: 08:30]

3 x (1-30% ) =2.1 -2 x (1-30%) =-1.4 if we have a loss that loss can be set of against profit in some other business, same company. tax loss is basically a saving . So, on losses, whatever is the tax that is computed helps you to reduce tax payment in some other case
