With respect to single security - Return formula includes the error term. But with respect to Portfolio return - formula does not include error term - Why sir? [Video Time Stamp: 05:13]

latest answer

Good question. In a portfolio of stocks, unsystematic risk gets eliminated and only systematic risk is left

In Q6, they asked spot value, but i dont remember we deducting dividend while calculating spot in Black Scholes, because in formula i haven't seen that.

latest answer

There are two formulae for black Scholes, one where divided yield is available - you use this in real options another one normal formula in which Spot is adjusted we have solved both varieties of problems in class Refer illustrations 22 & 26 in notes and videos

Sir, If the dividend payout ratio is constant, and the earnings grow at x%, then the dividend also grows at x%. In such case, CAGR of earnings and CAGR of dividend should be same , right? But in this sum, both were different. Why sir? [Video Time Stamp: 17:49]

latest answer

Historically the payout ratio has not been constant - hence the issue
