Sir, 10 years time limit to complete CA inter is for old course students also or only for students registered from 2023?for suppose if some registered in CA course in 2011 they should be dropped from course and becomes ineligible?

WHEN ISSUING DEBENTURES AT PAR AND REDEEMING AT PREMIUM THE ENTRY WILL BE DEBENTURE APPLICATION A/C DR 1000 LOSS ON DEBENTURE AC DR 100 TO DEBENTURE A/C 1000 TO PROVISION FOR 100 PREMIUM ON REDEMPTION OF DEBENTURE A/C FROM WHERE DID THE ADDITIONAL AMOUT OF 100 CAME BECUASE AT ISSUE WE ARE ASKING FOR 1000 ONLY????

Itw Simple.. Example : I need a money of 1000 right now.. And u gave me.. right away i said i will repay this amount after 2 years... Now think for yourself... Now while I am repaying i will give you 1000rs only... Will you accept it... The answer is no..... you will ask for extra money which is over and above the. 1000 Rs..... . The same way When a company wants money , They will issue an debenture at par.. let's say 1000 Rs.. And while repaying They will give back extra amount which is called as an premium on redemption of debtenutes....... I hope u got it. 😇

Fixed Lease Payment at 15:10 of this video should be 1,90,000 instead of 1,95,000?

Sir, in this video, at 15:10, when we are working out the Present Value of the lease payments after Modification at IRR = 5.43%, aren't the Fixed lease payments ₹1,90,000 instead of ₹1,95,000. In this video, though you are changing the Present value Factor, but you have not changed the amount of the Fixed Lease Payment to 1,90,000 from 1,95,000. Shouldn't it be ₹1,90,000? The answer will not change since the % of PV of Lease payments to the Fair Value of the Asset will only come down as a result of the Calculation with 1,90,000 in place of 1,95,000.

In solution of these question, why is "production expenses" shown under "cost of raw materials consumed"?

Production expenses related to *raw material* consumption should be categorized under the appropriate head as specified by the Companies Act. Any expenses that do not fit under the specified heads should be classified as "other expenses." Extraa Tip: If any expenses which is not fit under heads will be shown as other expenses

Revised portfolio Beta

Hi Sir, in class you said we can do in normal way i.e. (revised portfolio value*beta)/ revised portfolio or using changes % i.e. change in portfolio /change in index to find out the revised portfolio beta. but when i did try to compute portfolio beta in normal way i got answer of 2.2943 but where as your answer is 2.2923. i am attaching my calculation for your reference. please correct me sir

How does the new portfolio's Beta will increase to 1.45

Hi Sir, to increase the beta of the portfolio to 1.45, you told us to borrow 1.3 crores from risk free security by shorting it and invest that 1.3 crores again in x & y ltd shares in their existing proportions. even we increase the amount of investments in those securities, since we invested in the same proportion the overall beta of the portfolio will still remain 1.15 right ? please provide me the calculation of how the revised beta will be 1.45 . i have attached my calculation for your reference. please correct me if anything is wrong in it.

I numerator add one more number (-1.3 x 0) because we have shorted Rf in denominator add one more number ( -1.3) because we have shorted Rf Numerator will now be 7.245 Denominator will be 5 7.245 / 5 = 1.45
